The Beauty of Life

The beauty of life is sometimes not appreciated to the highest intent possible.

Every day is open to any treasure we desire. We only are requested to act upon it to make it so.

I see beauty in the sun, the sky, the stars at night. I recognized the beauty of Mrs. P as she grows through the stages of her particular way of handling the accumulation of years in her life.

I spoke on the phone last night with an uncle of mine who was contemplating the many, many years he has been on this earth, and handling whatever dilemma he was facing at that time in his particular way. He had been in his basement "banging on the piano" as he says, attempting to heighten his mood. Also, in his mind, he realized he needed to be occupied with interesting projects and thoughts every day to help keep his spirits up.

My uncle was very excited about Barack Obama running for president. He has always been a black history buff, and has mostly dwelled on the dark side of Black people's history -- neglect, not enough pride, being taken advantage of, wasted talent, etc. So it was great for me to hear the animation and pride in his voice as he spoke of Barack Obama. He said he believes our time has come.

I am sure that Barack Obama has affected many people in many different ways. I see him as a light of reconciliation for this country and for the world. He has a unique quality about him which seems almost saintly. He has been placed in the world at this time, under these circumstances for a particular reason, and I believe it has something to do with light and enlightenment.  -- I believe this is true for all of us, we were all placed here on this planet at this time for a special reason.

It is time for this country, this world, to change directions. It is time for togetherness, love, compassion, understanding, etc.  Mr. Obama's theme is "Yes We Can", and I believe it - yes, we can. 

And I am part of this movement in my own way. When my breathing comes in from the divine earth mother, flows through my body and upward through all of my chakras from the first through the twelfth -- going past the sun and the stars to reach the very fabric of my intention and being shared with the universe, I realize I, too, am a benefit to others in my way. I am spreading love and light.

Spirit has a perfect plan for me.
