Dreams and Channelings (Spiritual Journey Entry)
3/2/08
Question:
What is the meaning of dreams? It is my intention to use my morning pages as channeling periods. What
are the meanings of dreams, and how can they be changed. My dreams are usually on the negative side and do not seem to offer teachings to me. Is
there any way to change this pattern?
Answer: (Channeling)
Dreams are related to thoughts, you could think of them as cousins. Dreams usually depict something in our
lives symbolized. Dreams are not clear or direct in the way that thoughts can be.
Most people have to spend time remembering and analysing dreams. This is usually done best immediately upon
awakening. It might also be helpful to write down what you remember about a dream, including all details, colors, feelings. If you take the time
to be with your dreams, you can learn valuable information. Dreams can certainly be a door to the inner child. Dreams, like the inner child, can
be elusive, sad, happy, playful, mixed up -- a jumble and all things and all emotions.
Taking the time to deal with your dreams might be something for you to consider doing. Dreams are an important
segment of our lives. They are a time when we can be undisciplined -- under no one's control, but able to go hither and thither as we see
fit.
You might want to try getting deeply into year dreams to see what you can find out.
Dreams are a part of you. And they are important.
Dreams represent a time that we are free -- there are no restraints whatsoever on them. Dreams can go anywhere
and everywhere. Dreams can go where you would not feel free to go. Dreams are not inhibited. They can be looked upon as little
children.
Treasure your dreams. They are wonderful release periods in your life.
Before going to bed, you might try thinking of/calling forth what you would like to dream about. In doing this
just before going to sleep, set an intention about what you would like to dream about. Be as specfic, as detailed as possible.
As you make this a part of your nightly routine, your dreams will begin to come clearer to you. They will also
be valuable to you.
They can be that aid to finding that inner child -- to opening up your life, your emotions, etc. Use your
dreams as the valuable important tool they were meant to be.
