Site Build It! - An E-Business Opportunity Finding An Old "Friend" A few days ago, quite by accident, I again came across information about Site Sell and the products in the Site Sell Line. I say "again" because I was very familiar with the name of the founder, Ken Evoy, and had read a newsletter article about him and his new products two or three years ago. In fact, I remember being very impressed with his approach to marketing. It was so different and truly a well thought out "win/win" way of selling. But since I was busy building my site, I filed the interview material away planning to look it up later. What a mistake!! Getting Started - The Old Way I am a "retired" grandmother, having spent my life working as a nurse and stay at home mother among other things. And I was a complete internet novice - knew nothing about the wide world web, had never even been "online". Back then, in answer to my questions, my son let me use his computer to look up sites dealing with my hobby, crocheting and crochet patterns - you do this, this, and this, he said. That was the lesson. Then I was on my own. I became enthralled with all of the information at my finger tips, and the ease with which it could be gotten. I was fascinated, and thus began my quest for knowledge about the internet and how I could have my own internet business. I proceeded to spend months and months gathering information, learning about html, meta tags, descriptions, keywords, word density, web hosting, auto-responders, FTP, e-commerce, newsletters, e-mail, tracking, merchant accounts, traffic vs. hits, statistics, affiliates, URL's, web colors, gifs, jpegs, clip art, search engines, pay-per-click, reading articles, buying e-books and software - you name it, and I had some information about it. Made lots of mistakes, but I trudged on. My thoughts were spinning. And my file drawers were overflowing with it all. What does it all mean? How do I sort it out? My Web Site Up and Running, But . . . So after many, many long, busy days and sleepless nights, I finally got my site online. I was and am pleased - I get traffic and I have very good search engine placement, but I was stagnated. where do I go from here how do I add value to my site should I get involved with affiliates how can I really make a good living with my online business what is my next step can I grow my e-business does it all have to be so hard!! Getting Answers From My "Friend" So, again, Dr. Evoy and Site Sell came to my attention - this time with a jolt - the time had come. My questions were answered and I AM EXCITED!! I started at Site Sell's Main Page which gave a well defined overview of most of the books, free downloads, free courses as well as Site Build It, the features of which have to be seen to be believed. I then went to see actual sites that were built using this software tool. At this point, I was very involved with what I was reading and the new insights I was gaining. Imagine having definitive, detailed information about making the intangibles sell, such as your Knowledge or your Words sell. Of course, there is the premier of all e-commerce books that should be part of anyone's library who is interested in a successful web business Make Your Site Sell! 2002. With enthusiasm I joined the Site Build It affiliate team, and have since read manuals and archived newsletters, and I have learned so much, I am amazed. Within the next few days, I will take the Affiliate Masters Course. So my questions have been answered either with - a large, resounding "YES" or though I realize I have a way to go, I now have direction and a goal and I see myself getting there. And NO, it does not have to be so hard!! So,You Can Believe . . . The next time I build a web site - and the time after that and so forth and so on - I will certainly use the features and ease found in Site Build It! No More Old-Fashioned Web Building For Me!!
